A number of you have asked us about updating your ticket detail, and we at #wcbos are all about empowerment. Plus, we want some details from you. So, please log back in, let us know about things like your shirt size, make sure the name and other details on your ticket are correct because we want all of your badges to look great and be chock full of actual information, not just stuff we make up to embarrass you for not filling the fields out. Infact, we made this video to help you out. Remember: be sure to update
- name (make sure its the correct name of the ATTENDEE, not the dude who bought the ticket)
- attendee’s job title/company
- attendee’s city/state
- twitter name is up to date
- website is up to date
- t shirt size is correct
If you still have question, just post a comment and we’ll get on it.

FYI… my Eventbrite page is different. To modify the items you mention, I went to Manage Your Order > Update Attendee Information, for this event.
Link needed.

Amanda – help! My eventbrite page is different, it is the same as Mike above. However, when I click on “update attendee information” I get an message saying “updating attendee information.” Nothing else happens., no form appears, nothing.
Is it okay if I send you my info via email?
Nancy
Hi again,
All set…the problem was the settings on my computer, cookies not enabled. I logged into Eventbrite using my husband’s computer and was able to successfully update my information.
Nancy
I had signed up for two tickets under my own name, but one was for someone else. At the time, I did not sign up for or have an Eventbrite account. Is it possible for you to go back and link each ticket with a newly-created Eventbrite account?
An eventbrite acct was created for you when you bought a ticket, so you can log in and change those details on your own, try that first….if it doesn’t work…send the question/names/email addys to link them to, etc to wordcampboston@gmail.com and we’ll get it sorted out.
amanda – we had opted not to create an account during signup (there was a checkbox), but didn’t realize it would be so critical.
I’ll email you with our details so we can sort it out.
Amanda,
I registered for two of us, we are both getting the emails from you but I do not believe I set up an eventbrite so how do I get that set up in order to update my important info like t-shirt size! thanks
If you have multiple events with EventBrite you’ll see all the events when you login and then can click the “Manage Your Order” and then “Update Attendee Information”… NO TAB to wait for!!!
This all worked for me in Firefox. It did not work in Explorer.
Folks – if you are having trouble updating your attendee info through Eventbrite please email me directly at wordcampboston@gmail.com and I will get you sorted out.
Thanks!
